I am from Wisconsin. I am very pro vaccination. For me its a no brainer. So, you can imagine how upset I was when my star quarterback got Covid19. However, that was nothing compared to finding out that he was never vaccinated. When asked if he was vaccinated he said “yeah, I’ve been immunized. I didn’t read a lot about that news conference but it seems to me that one of the reporters should have questioned the term “immunized”. One of them should have at least said, you mean vaccinated don’t you? I wonder what Rodger’s would have said to that question?
Eventually Rodgers explains he was allergic to 2 of the vaccines. What about the third? When he said he didn’t lie to the public by saying “yeah, he was immunized”, he quite simply lied again. He had live, in person game interviews without a mask on. He didn’t observe the safety protocols put in place to protect others. He would have been better off to not answer the question in the beginning by saying I think that is a personal question. I choose not to answer it. At least than he wouldn’t have lied to the public, NFL and the Green Bay Organization. That is assuming that Green Bay did not know anything about him not being vaccinated.. Hmmmmm???
I like seeing Green Bay win but not at this cost. Rodgers needs to go bye bye. We have to start punishing people for not being ethical. How else are we going to promote ethics without punishment? I have zero respect for Rodgers and I have zero respect for Green Bay not coming down on him hard. As usual, money is more important than character! No wonder we are constantly seeing professional athletes get arrested and prosecuted for bad behavior.
