Shrimp Cocktail

Boiling shrimp for shrimp cocktail is about as easy as it gets.  I am going to assume that you now know how to get your water boiling.  After your water is boiling put your DEFROSTED shrimp in the pot.  Your cooking time starts after the water begins to boil again.  For 12 or less extra jumbo (16-20) size shrimp you should boil them for 4 minutes.  Then immediately remove from stove and cool them off with cold water.  Then dry them off with paper toweling and put in the refrigerator to cool.  Keep in mind that you have to variate your cooking time for more shrimp or different size shrimp accordingly.  How much?  Google it!  I prefer Kroger cocktail sauce.  Its dirt cheap and tastes better than the rest!
