I have always wanted to publicize my views on just about everything.  I am sure its because I am under the impression that I know everything.  Unfortunately, the older I get the more I realize how little I know.  However, for the sake of this site we will keep that little known fact a secret…

My site is  named “Monsy Says” for a reason.  When I was younger I use to work for our family sporting goods business.   We primarily sold outdoor items that had to do with fishing, hunting etc.  My father and I use to have columns in our local newspaper called Bill or Jeff  Says.  We would comment on various things that had to do with our business.  For example we would talk about hot fishing and hunting spots in the area.  Monsy is a nickname I have had throughout my life.  So, my site, monsysays.com, is really an extension of my Jeff Says column.  The main difference is that I now have a lot more topics that I can comment on.  As you can see below, I will be commenting on politics,  sporting events, public figures, foreign affairs, heroic actions by others etc.  Please realize that my commentary will sometimes involve controversial subjects.  My Political commentary is one of them.  With that said I am sure there are those of you that will not always agree with what I say.  That’s ok.  I’m not always right and neither are any of you.  So, if you like, write in your response to any of my posts.  The worst that can and should happen is that we agree to disagree.  The best that can and should happen is that our exchange of opinions and ideas will make the world a better place.
